Superintendent

It is my pleasure to formally introduce myself to the community of Washakie County School District #1. I am honored to serve in the capacity of Superintendent in a school district and community that truly values public education.

I was born and raised in Worland and graduated from Worland High School. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and a master’s degree from Northern Arizona University. I have spent the past 33 years in the state of Arizona serving as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and principal.

While growing up in Worland, I was blessed to have some influential adults in my life, namely teachers and coaches who took a special interest in me and thus helped shape who I have become. I believe that those people largely contributed to my success and they continue to fuel my desire and determination to positively change and inspire our students today.

I am looking forward to helping every student find and achieve their own success, which can be done well by continuing to cultivate strong school and community ties. Therefore, as your Superintendent, is my plan to be available and accessible to all members of our community. I welcome any comments, concerns or questions, and encourage you to give me a call, stop by the district office, or send me an email by clicking here.

Thank you for your willingness to work together to enhance and enrich the lives of our students!
